James Paroubek

James Ivan Paroubek (1922-1974) was vice president of Ace Hardware Company. He was a member of the Lions Club and was president of the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 1952.
The park at Lee Street and Prairie Avenue is named for him.
