Dr. Arthur M. Purves

Dr. Arthur M. Purves (1876-1960) opened his medical practice in 1903 in the Brown building. He was director of the First National Bank and chairman of the board of First Federal Savings & Loan.

He was captain in the medical corps during World War I and a charter member of the Lions Club.
