Library Cable Network
From Encyclopedia of Des Plaines

The Library Cable Network was a video production studio founded in 1983 by the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, the Indian Trails Public Library. The Park Ridge Public Library and Skokie Public Library joined in 1986. The Highland Park Public Library joined in 1987. The Des Plaines Public Library joined around 1999.
The network recorded programs at libraries and broadcast them on their cable channel. It also created its own content, including the monthly program "What's New in Libraries?"
The network was shut down around 2008. Many programs are archived by the Des Plaines Public Library on YouTube.
